Todra Gorge cuts a canyon so narrow and so tall that for a few hundred metres the road, the river and a thin strip of sky are all that fit between the rock walls. It's one of the most dramatic short stretches of landscape anywhere in Morocco, and it barely takes an hour to walk through — though most guests linger far longer than that.
It's also become a serious destination for rock climbers, with hundreds of bolted routes on the limestone walls. You don't need to climb to appreciate it, though — a walk along the riverbed with the walls rising on both sides is reason enough to come.
